UOW College Hong Kong (“UOWCHK”), formerly known as Community College of City University (“CCCU”), is widely acknowledged as one of the leading institutions of its kind in Hong Kong, providing quality tertiary education for about 5,000 students. Appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching courses in the area of English Literature and Language/ Cultural Studies/ Translation and Interpretation or related disciplines; (b) conduct research, publish research results in referred academic journals, and attend conferences; (c) programme administration and course development; (d) assisting in the development of programmes at different levels.; (e) taking up administrative works at the College level; and (f) developing and coordinating extra-curricular activities for students.
Applicants must have a PhD Degree in English Literature and Language/ Cultural Studies/ Translation and Interpretation, with at least three year’s relevant post qualification teaching experience and publications at relevant academic journals.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will normally be made on fixed-term contract for one year. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes, where applicable.
