The UOW College Hong Kong (“UOWCHK”), currently also named as Community College of City University (“CCCU”), is widely acknowledged as one of the leading institutions of its kind in Hong Kong, providing quality tertiary education for about 3,500 students. The College offers a wide range of Degrees, Associate Degree (AD) programmes, a Diploma in General Studies, and International Language Proficiency Tests with preparatory courses. In association with the University of Wollongong (Australia), the College offers top-up degrees for associate degree or higher diploma graduates. It has two well-provisioned campuses in Kowloon Tong and Kowloon Bay, with library facilities for all students. The College is registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap 320) and is an Approved Post Secondary College in Hong Kong. Duties
Appointees will be responsible for (a) teaching courses in the area of either Aviation/Computer Science/Engineering; (b) programme administration and course development; (c) assisting in the development of programmes at different levels; (d) taking up administrative works at the College level; and (e) developing and coordinating extra-curricular activities for students.

 

Requirements
Applicants must have a Master’s degree or PhD in Aviation/Computer Science/Engineering or other related disciplines, with 1-3 years related teaching and/or industry experience. Relevant professional qualification and/or research experience with a record of publications is preferred. Applicants with less working experiences will be considered for the post of Assistant Lecturer/Teaching Associate.

 

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will normally be made on fixed-term contract for one year. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.
